Physical Reality practitioners are Accredited Exercise Physiologists with extensive experience working with patients to achieve their general physical activity goals, improve functional ability and manage chronic metabolic conditions. The emphasis is on providing a practical program where the patient maintains appropriate physical activity behaviours in the long term.
Ryan Ellmoos completed both his Exercise Science (1999) and Masters (2001) degrees at the University of Wollongong following a Diploma of Science at Southern Institute of TAFE. Since graduating from his Exercise Science degree, he established his own business and has worked in private practice treating workplace and lifestyle related musculoskeletal injuries. Ryan al o consults patients on metabolic conditions and healthy exercise choices. Since 2000 Ryan has contracted his services to Australia’ leading Rehabilitation Providers completing various contract roles including Early Worksite Assessments and Case Conferences.
Ryan has also completed ongoing training in Pilates Mat-work and Pilates Reformer, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Functional Capacity Evaluations and a Certificate IV in Workplace training and instruction. He was also a board member on the NSW Board of the peak governing body of Exercise Physiologists (ESSA- Formally AAESS) for a period of 4 years and recently completed Lecturing Certificate III and Certificate IV in Fitness at NSW TAFE. Away from the clinic, you will find Ryan in the outdoors playing with his 3 children or in the surf at Elouera Beach, Cronulla.
Scott's passion in using exercise as medicine is fuelled by helping people take the right health steps to improve their health and their ability to enjoy life. Since graduating from the University of Wollongong in 2012 with a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology, which followed a Bachelor of Science (Exercise Science) in 2010, Scott has worked at St Vincent's Hospital Clinic as an Exercise Physiologist as part of a multidisciplinary team, and currently works within a team of GPs at Bondi Road Doctors as well as Physical Reality.
With a background in National swimming and lifesaving, Scott's special interests include rehabilitation of sporting injuries and lower back pain, Pilates and hydrotherapy, as well as exercise in the prevention and treatment of cancer. Scott is heavily involved in fundraising events for the Cancer Council of NSW. Scott has been a valuable addition to the team at Physical Reality, and we look forward to seeing him continue to help our patients achieve their health and lifestyle goals.

What can I expect in an Exercise Physiology session?
Initial sessions are up to 60 minutes. This allows us to conduct a thorough examination and discussion ensuring nothing is overlooked, as we then design an exercise plan that is right for you and your lifestyle. Please bring any referrals you may have, past scans and reports related to you injury, a medication list and wear comfortable clothes.
How much does a session cost?
Each consultation is different dependent on your health concerns. Please give us a call to see how we can best help you. Initial Consultations are $125 for up to 60 minutes. Subsequent consultations: 30 mins $85 Home visits $ 112 (travel distances apply) Group classes $30 Casual or $220 for 10 session pass.
If you have a private health fund, you may claim a rebate at the clinic. Medicare rebates can be made to go back into your bank account. We also accept the following:
